PartyGirl PartyDresses release! +GIVEAWAY+

STAMPlorations has got another fabulous stamp set being released today: PartyDresses. This fun set is designed by Shirley Bampton and coordinates with PartyGirl so if you've already got that set, you can play dress up with her! Totally fun, right?

I LOVE this stamp set because I get to be a mini-fashion designer but not worry about having to sew a stitch! It's over-the-top fun and I get to choose what my PartyGirl wears to that fancy shindig.

For my card, I did a little bit of paper piecing to get an adorable polka-dotted dress. Then I accessorized her with a big ol' bow and gave her a balloon from the Balloons and Banners stamp set and a sentiment from the Party Time stamp set.

Yeah.... I'm pretty much the next Prada, huh? I would totally wear that outfit. I finished off the card by using the little sash from the PartyDresses set to create a "stitched" border. It looks pretty cute, I think!

I'm going to send my PartyGirl over to party along with the following awesome challenges:
613 Ave Create - ATG w/optional Girl's Night Out (totally fits!)
Corrosive Challenges - Utterly Feminine
Through the Craftroom Door - Anything Goes
Addicted to Stamps and More - Clean and Simple (ok... so I'm the Damsel of *distressed* and I always struggle with whether my cards are CAS. I think this one qualifies? It's got a lot of white space! If not please delete it!)

For this mini hop, we have the STAMPlorations girls sharing their projects. We'd love for you to visit the designers' blogs and leave comments along the way. The best part? One lucky commenter will win PartyDresses

  9. Oh for crying out loud, Becca--your creative border takes the cake! Love your festive card & such a fun new set! I never go to any fancy shindigs, so don't get to wear something fun like this, but I could live vicariously designing something with these stamps!

  10. Becca this is beautifully CAS! It's something I struggle with because I love my inky look but am trying to adapt to create this style too. I love that dress and I would guess many of us would totally wear that and your use of the stash to create a stamped ribbon border: gawd girl you are one very clever and talented artist! Am in love with this card and this stamp set too! Thanks for the fabulous inspirations, the hard work to do the blog and for sharing your talent with us Karen xx

  13. Ooooh! is this a standard A2 card? I like these girl images but the ones I've seen elsewhere are usually too big--wish I could remember the name of the one I'm thinking about. Also, these are like Fashion Plates which I adored as a child. okay, okay, I would totally play with it now!

    1. It is a standard A2 yes! I know what you're talking about with other girls being too big. It's one of the reasons why I just adore this set!
